Back-end Developer – Involve Platform (Sysarb)

The role

We are looking for a back-end developer who wants to help build a platform that communicates fair and transparent compensation to employees in a clear, trustworthy and scalable way.

In this role, you will work dedicatedly with the Involve platform, a core part of Sysarb’s product portfolio. The platform is used by thousands of employees in parallel and plays a key role in how organisations explain, anchor and build trust around fair pay.

You will help design and develop a backend that is not only technically robust and scalable, but also enables AI-driven insights, clear communication flows and a high level of security. This is a role for someone who enjoys combining strong engineering practices with meaningful product impact.

You are expected to be a strong contributor to the entire team — technically, collaboratively and strategically.

What you’ll do

• Design, build and maintain backend services for the Involve platform.

• Contribute to a scalable platform architecture supporting high concurrency and load.

• Build stable, secure and maintainable solutions that support communication around fair pay.

• Enable and integrate AI-based insights into backend services and data flows.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers and other backend engineers.

• Take part in architectural decisions, code reviews and technical discussions.

• Actively contribute to improving team practices, code quality and technical direction.

What we’re looking for

Required:

• Several years of experience working with backend development in production systems.

• Strong experience building scalable, secure and reliable backend solutions.

• Solid understanding of systems with many concurrent users.

• Experience with modern backend technologies and API design.

• Experience working with databases and data modelling.

• A collaborative mindset and a willingness to take ownership and responsibility.

Strongly meriting:

• Daily use of Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools.

• Experience working with AI-driven features, analytics or data-based insights.

• Experience building SaaS platforms with high availability and security requirements.

• Experience with event-driven architectures and/or messaging systems.

• Interest in product development where technology meets communication, trust and transparency.
