Quality Assurance Lead Role Overview

As Quality Assurance Lead, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our platform and services meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You will develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, design test processes, and foster a culture of quality across cross-functional teams. This hands-on role will enable you to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational execution, support our mission for workplace fairness, and improve the client experience as we rapidly scale. The position reports directly to the Head of Tech.

Key Responsibilities in Quality Assurance Leadership

• Establish, lead, and continuously improve Sysarb’s software testing and quality assurance processes across the delivery lifecycle.
• Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases for new and existing features in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Client Delivery teams.
• Design and implement automated and manual testing frameworks to ensure product reliability, usability, and security.
• Drive quality initiatives to support scalability, reduce risk, and deliver outstanding software to clients.
• Lead defect and issue tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution with clear communication to internal stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop team members on best practices in quality assurance, QA automation, and testing methodologies.
• Establish and monitor key metrics related to product quality, client support cases, and performance, sharing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Delivery and Technical Support teams to ensure rapid, high-quality issue resolution for clients.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and customer-centric quality throughout Sysarb.

Qualifications and Experience: Quality Assurance Lead

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing, including at least 2 years in a QA leadership or management role.
• Demonstrated experience with SaaS platforms, preferably in a fast-paced, scale-up or enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress), CI/CD processes, and modern QA toolsets.
• Experience working cross-functionally to translate client requirements and feedback into test plans and product improvements.
• Analytical mindset, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and reporting.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to foster high-performing teams and share knowledge effectively.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Swedish is a plus but not mandatory.
