We’re now looking for a Senior Backend Developer who thrives on solving complex problems and contributing to high-impact architectural decisions.

💼 Your role at Sysarb 

You’ll be a senior voice in our development team, contributing to the design and development of our backend systems. While we don’t have a single tech lead role, you’ll be an active member of our internal “Techlead Forum” – a collaborative space where architectural and technical decisions are made together. 

This role is ideal for someone who wants to shape systems, not just write code, and values working in a flat, team-driven engineering culture. 

🛠️ What you’ll do 

• Design, build, and evolve modern backend services using a microservices architecture. 
• Contribute architectural input and challenge solutions constructively in our Techlead Forum. 
• Collaborate with product owners, frontend engineers, DevOps, and others to deliver robust features. 
• Work with event-driven and message-based architecture using NATS. 
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability in systems using Node.js, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server. 
• Deploy and maintain services in Kubernetes environments. 

👤 What you bring 

• 5+ years of experience in backend development. 
• Solid knowledge of Node.js, REST APIs, and asynchronous service communication. 
• Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL and SQL Server. 
• Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architecture, and container orchestration (Kubernetes). 
• Interest in architectural patterns and system design – especially in collaborative, peer-driven contexts. 
•    Curiosity, teamwork, and a drive to continuously learn and share knowledge.
