The Role
We’re looking for a motivated Junior Backend Developer to join our development team in Arboga. This full-time, permanent role (with a 6-month probation) offers the chance to help shape innovative features that promote pay transparency and equity on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services with Node.js.

• Build responsive, user-friendly frontend components using Vue 3.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature design and delivery.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Apply mathematical concepts to solve complex pay equity challenges.

• Work with distributed systems, messaging, and databases powering our SaaS platform.

What We're Looking For
Must-have qualifications:

• Proficiency in Node.js backend development.

• Experience with Vue 3 frontend development.

• Working knowledge of NATS for messaging/event-driven architecture.

• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.

• Familiarity with Pay Equity SaaS platforms or HR tech solutions.

• Strong foundation in mathematics and applying mathematical reasoning to solve real-world problems.

• Prior experience in a software development role within a company environment.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• Fluency in both Swedish and English (spoken and written).

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with TypeScript.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and robust database schema design.

• Knowledge of pay equity regulations and HR tech landscape.

• Exposure to distributed systems or SaaS architectures.

• Fluency in additional languages beyond Swedish and English.
